VFW to host U.S.O. Show
V.F.W. and Ladies Auxiliary Post 4376 in Seven Points presents for the first time a U.S.O. Show and dinner on Saturday, November 7, 2009.
Dinner will be chicken spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and dessert. There is a $10.00 charge for the dinner and show.
There will be raffles, prizes, door prizes and a 50/50. Dinner will be served from 6:00-7:00pm and the show will start at 7:00pm. Guests will be P.O.W.s and M.I.A.s
Terrell Marine detachment color guard, guests of honor to be announced, District 30 officers, soldiers and their families. Lots of exciting entertainment and good food.

Relay for Life to be held at HC Fair Park Complex
The Relay for life Began with one man, one track, one goal. In 1985 an American Cancer Society volunteer, Dr Gordy Klatt, put on his jogging gear and headed for the local oval after a good friend of his succumbed to cancer. Twenty-four hours and 81 miles later, Dr Klatt had raised an amazing $27,000 in sponsored donations for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is now the world’s largest fundraising event.
