Ernestine Levaughn Hughes Baugh Ford

Gun Barrel City — Ernestine Levaughn  Hughes Baugh Ford of Eustace, TX passed away on January 27, 2010 in Mabank, TX at the age of 86.  She was born on May 15, 1923 in Glenwood Arkansas to the late Albert and Bertha (Hammonds) Hughes.

 Ernestine will be remembered as a precious mother, who loved God and lived her life for her children.  Ernestine was a member of First Assembly of God church in Eustace, TX.  She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Bertha Hughes; a son, Billy Duke Ford; a grandson, Billy Ray Ford; two husbands, Joseph Duke Ford and John M. Baugh; as well as three brothers.  Those left to celebrate her life are: five daughters, Claircie Peeler and husband Thomas of Sparta, GA, Donna Harper and husband Robert of Mabank, TX, Lee Ella Rainwater and husband Jack Baker of Malakoff, TX, Mary Pruitt and husband Johnny of Canton, TX, Glenna Ashton of Eustace, TX;  five sons, Charles Ford and wife Karen of Log Cabin, TX, Richard Ford and wife Linda of Log Cabin, TX, Jimmy Ford and wife Donna Jo of Log Cabin, TX, Joseph  Duke Ford Jr. of Eustace, TX, Kenneth Ford of Kemp, TX; four brothers, Walter Lee Hughes of Kemp, TX, Virgil Henderson and spouse of Crockett, TX, Tracey Henderson and spouse of Crockett, TX, Albert Henderson and spouse of Kemp, TX; two sisters, Katherine Houston of Kemp, TX, Reba Smiley of Kaufman, TX;  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. 

  Visitation was held on Friday January 29, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Anderson Clayton   Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, TX.  Services were Saturday January 30, 2010 at 2:30 pm at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel.
