Another drug bust goes down
KEMP- Henderson County officers try to keep the justice with the arrest of two more drug traffickers Monday.
Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) was called to Kemp in reference to suspected drug related crime at 9340 Rolling Acres, according to Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt.
When HCSO Drug Enforcement Unit Investigators addressed suspect Lee Martin Floyd, 29, he confessed to having drugs in his possession.
Investigators then searched Floyd and his residence, locating a large quantity of methamphetamine in Floyd’s pocket.
Inside the residence was George Francis Davis Jr., 56, who was also in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.
Floyd was arrested on a list of charges including:
• manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, pension group one, between four and 200 grams,
• possession/transport anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container.
Davis was arrested for possession of a controlled substance between one and four grams.
Each of them have been booked into the Henderson County Justice Center.
Bonds have been set at $150,000 total for Floyd and $25,000 for Davis.
Investigating the case from the HCSO were Ronny Halbert, Darrell Waller, Kenny Collard and David Faught.
Also assisting in the case was Sheriff Nutt and the Henderson County District Attorney’s Office.
